Christmas Arrangement A photograph was taken of an arrangement containing strawberries, peaches, peach leaves, leaves from a weeping boer-bean and a branch of a yellowwood. The arrangement was then “cut out” electronically and placed on an uniform green background (the first image in the series). Thereafter it was manipulated electronicalky to create
various versions. Hydrangea Hydrangeas are also known as Chrismas Roses in South Africa. As indicated by the name, this plant flowers during Christmas. A close-up was taken of a flower head (the first image in the series) and then manipulated electronicalky to create various versions. Christmas Wishes Various close-up photographs were taken of strawberries, leaves of a weeping boer-bean, a branch of a yellowwood and ivy. The subjects were then “cut out” electronically and arranged to form a frame. Different backgrounds were used, amongst others a “water-colour” version of hydrangea flowers.
